Ever had an ITCH to try out acting? Here's a fun, low-key, non-commercial way to try it out!

A new indie filming production is seeking someone to portray the female character described below:

  • female, very PLAYFUL, VIVACIOUS
  • a dreamer, full of enthusiasm
  • age range starts around late teens-early 20's, and ends around early-mid 30's (we might spawn off two characters, a younger and an older one)
  • a free-thinker, free-spirit, non-conformist
  • Caucasian or Latina
  • U.S. background or foreign-born. Native speaker, or with an accent
  • traditional feminine-looking (long or longish hair; not too many tattoos or piercings)
  • witty, very smart
  • bratty (endearingly so, not annoyingly)
  • a sensualist (likes to go barefoot, eat with her hands, etc); a little exhibitionistic
  • comfortable with her body and sexuality (straight or somewhat bi)
  • something of a "natural"/"casual" seductress
  • adventurous, spontaneous
  • dreamy romantic, affectionate
  • a bit of a "troublemaker", but not obnoxious, self-destructive or neurotic
  • has a "MAGICAL", creative quality about her

    - Time commitment should be limited; it can be spread out, and we can probably fit it into your schedule

    - The project's goal is a SHORT story (or more than one), as opposed to a full feature. One short story outline is the transferring of affections for someone who resembles someone loved in the past (such as a younger sister of a previous love.)

    - The goal is more to immerse oneself in a fascinating character than "reciting lines". There will probably be some improv.

    - We're a small group of artists who want to explore characters, stories and visuals.

    - If you're looking for an established commercial company, with everything all figured out and a ready script, sorry, we're NOT it

    - Please, no people primarily looking for a way to pad their acting resume! Looking forward to making your acquaintance :)
